Are the additional courses (classics, heavy equipment, etc.) required?
You are not required to take these additional courses to become an auto damage appraiser. However, if you want to estimate damages to additional vehicle types other than regular auto vehicles (i.e. classic cars, tractors, RV's, motorcycles), then we do suggest that you take these courses. These special assignments do have different requirements than regular auto vehicles. By acquiring these extra skills, you will make more money.

What estimating software does this course teach?
We have samples from each of the three estimation software. However, this course teaches a student estimating in general rather than specific use of a particular estimating software. Each of the software companies have training courses when a person signs up with them specific to their software.
